And I’ve actually for about a year now predicted the name of this 10th Anniversary iPhone to be:
iPhone X
However, I thought Apple would go ahead and update the regular iPhone lineup according to previous year’s practice and launch the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s plus today in San Fransisco. But word has it that Apple will call the not-top model iPhone line the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus.
That is clearly a break for previous Apple nomenclature when it comes to the iPhone.
